Depression and the Elderly Speaker

Sunday, September 22 following the 7:15am Elma Mass

Lisa Turner, LMFT, Clinical Director for Catholic Charities Counseling Division, will present on the topic of “Depression and the Elderly”.  She will address signs and symptoms of depression across the life span, as well as professional and self-help strategies for those living with depression and those providing support for friends and family.  There will be time for Q/A.  Coffee and Rolls will be served.

Holy Hour & Rosary Series

Fr. Kopacek is offering a three part series on the Rosary October 7, October 14, and October 21 at Immaculate Conception (Elma) Church.  Holy Hour will begin at 6:00pm and conclude with Benediction about 6:50pm.  Rosary presentations/discussions will take place around 7:00pm in the Elma Church Hall.  Please feel free to invite any of your friends or relatives to attend as well — the more the merrier!


Music Ministers Needed

A strong music ministry is necessary for a vibrant parish.  All our parishes are in need of music ministers to help lead us in prayer.  If God has given you a gift of singing or playing an instrument, or even if you still need to develop that gift, contact the Cluster Office at

Befriender Ministry

Volunteers are needed from each parish to:

  • Drive people to medical appointments
  • Drive people to Mass
  • Make daily calls to people who live along (make sure they are okay)
  • Actively participate in a prayer chain
