Witness Grant Application 2017-2018

Through funds made available from the Archbishop Kucera Education Grant, the Archdiocese of Dubuque invites you to accept our gift of a free subscription to The Witness for your teachers and catechists.  For 2017-2018, each site will have the opportunity to sign up for one of two options – please remember this is a “site” choice and cannot be divided between individuals. The two choices are:

Receiving The Witness mail in a paper format – this option also includes accessing the online version.
Receiving The Witness only through an “online” access code – no hardcopy/paper edition will be mailed.

Planning for VBS 4-1-17

If you are already planning ahead for VBS, here are a couple of things to remember particularly if you are part of an ecumenical VBS endeavor with other churches in your community. Remember that all the expectations from the Office of Protection of Children must be met for VBS even if the event is held at a different church campus. If a volunteer has not taken the VIRTUS training and is 18 years of age, please have the volunteer go to www.virtus.org to complete the training.

Formation Opportunity—University of Notre Dame

Notre Dame Vision is not about changing the lives of your teens. Instead, it is about giving them an opportunity to look more deeply at their lives while praying, reflecting, and sharing really good conversations about stuff that matters…to them.  70 college students will lead them and 360 other high school students from across the country in large group sessions, small group discussions, liturgy and music over five days on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.
